i installed xfire today. it keeps disconnecting me as if my internet connection failed, but the connection is fine. when i click the reconnect button it connects without problem.

any ideas as to why it might do this?

hmm, ok. does anyone know of a way of speeding up the default time between reconnection attempts?

as far as i no they is no way to alter the time it takes to reconnect i think its random coz ive had like a few 3mins and 4mins one then ive had stupid one like 12 hours n 13 hours lol

hmmm, i might have a root around in the registry see if i can find anything in there. the reconnect times for me are always around 30 mins.

i also don't think it is recording my gaming times properly, i've been on source all day (knifing azzy) and it seems to think i've only been on an hour? does it only tally playing times when the program is connected?

The program times how long you've been playing the game, whilst both Xfire and the game is running similtaneously. If you close either the game, or Xfire, the timer doesn't add up. And Doesn't show the true time value on your profile.

Possibly a firewall doing it?

I had that a few weeks ago, but changed firewalls, now its fine now.
