I've been playing. I've played 2 matches in the noob starters arena, and I got twatted both times. I never played the original StarCraft, and I've always sucked at RTS games anyway (TA, WC3), so it's no surprise. I had a fun 3-way with a couple of friends, but I lost that too. =)

Playing the SP camp, 2nd mission about to start... so far so good.

Gonna go up and get it in a bit. Looks awesome, although many people have this 'SC 1.5' idea, which disheartens me.

Well SyneX , its good old SC 1 ...and a whole lot more, which is what I want in a sequel.

I never played StarCraft, so I don't really care if it's SC2 or SC1.5; it's still all new to me. :D

Still haven't won a game though. =/

decided to pop out at lunch time to buy it and so glad i did, feels just like i'm playing the original. but it's even better. just got to a mission where i have to operate during the day and defend at night. pure awesome!

those that haven't played sc before should really play through the campaign first and get a feel for how the game plays because the multiplayer will be hard with a capital HARD if you don't.

WHY DIDNT I BOUGHT THE SPECIAL EDITION THIS MORNING!!??? OR EVEN THE NORMAL ONE!!??? D: D: /rantish sobby stuff

So can this game be recommended to people like me?
I do occasionally enjoy a rts game and I grew up with Total Annihilation.
The campaign looks awesome judging from the released trailers.

Maybe saving my money for a little longer and buying a new tv is smarter.
decisions decisions..

With the custom maps it can be recommended to anyone. There's going to be some freaking awesome custom maps out soon enough.

You can make all kinds of custom maps from rpgs , fps shooters, mario kart racers etc etc

warcraft 3 custom maps were awesome and sc2 customs will be even better.

I wonder if there will be Tower Defence style maps. I do hope so.
